0005563: Adventurer Mode crashing in sleep, fast travel
Adventure mode is crashing for me pretty consistently. I walked next to a lair, and the game crashed. I made a new adventurer, slept in a human fortress, and the game crashed as well.

The 'error signature' is
"AppName: dwarf fortress.exe AppVer: 0.0.0.0 ModName: dwarf fortress.exe
ModVer: 0.0.0.0 Offset: 005b5561"

And the entire contents of my errorlog.txt is
"
path fail: milkfish,0,113,110 -> 3,110,110: Id 0009684:Path Goal Seek Station Flood:Station None at 3,110,110
loop path fail: <invalid goal> eagle,0,130,105 -> -5,130,106: Id #13630:Path Goal Flee from Opponent:Station None at 27,97,104
loop path fail: <invalid goal> stingray,60,143,80 -> 60,145,80: Id #14677:Path Goal Flee from Opponent:Station None at 61,131,80
"
Sorry that this isn't particularly helpful, but I don't have a save. I can't locate an open bug report that cover either of these. Hopefully either I'll have a save for this soon, or someone else can post more details.

Yeah, without a save or very specific information about the circumstances, this is not actionable information. Please reopen this report or PM me on the forums if a save becomes available.

Just finished making a save that recreates the bug...

Save file:
http://dffd.wimbli.com/file.php?id=5801 [^]

How to replicate: Press (T) to travel at the city map level, then walk off the site.

Here's an exact key sequence to make sure it can be replicated:

Press (T) to travel

Proceed
8 8 8 4 8 8 (following the road)
7 7 4 4 4 4 4 (to the bridge)
and then just keep jamming 7 to go northwest. It'll crash in about 20ish keypresses.

Awesome, thanks!

edit: confirmed no save corruption, at least not like 0005077.

Weirdly enough, you *can* leave the region on foot in the fully-zoomed-in map. If you do that, it'll crash the moment you enter Travel mode.

I was able to walk all the way to Routbeaches and read a slab without issue.

Leaving from there, traveling to the wrong place while fully zoomed in still occasionally causes crashes. So there's definitely something up with this.

I think this is the same root cause as 0005599 -- the crashy town is on the top edge of the world map, and edge towns have been bad.
