0006596: When the temperature increases high enough, adventurer movement is not possible except with Alt
When the temperature reaches burning levels, such as after being dunked in magma or setting the air temperature to Fire or above in the testing arena, adventurers/possessed arena creatures are incapable of moving through normal means. If a combatant is nearby, movement can still be achieved by dodging through the Aimed attack menu (Shift + a). Careful movements (alt + direction) will also function for movement.

A character can still take all other actions while in this state.
* Start the testing arena
* Spawn any type of creature
* Set temperature to fire or above
* Attempt normal movement.
* Character will not move. Any other action is accessible, however.
This bug also exists in 0.34.11

Only exceptional temperatures trigger this bug, so they are not likely to be run into in the course of normal play, unless players go dunking themselves in lava frequently, at which point not being able to move is a minor problem next to their imminent death. The only potential pain point is a player caught in dragon fire, or some other fire breathing creature, will not be able to maneuver.

I think it is intended. This is to avoid players walking to fires and dangerous terrain.
