Summary0000239: Winter came, jobs all kept getting cancelled due to inaccessable, then crashed moments later.
DescriptionI didn't see any indication that things were frozen (like water). I just brought inside a large load of stuff traded from caravan. The caravan still was in the trading post, and my Dwarves were nearly done bringing back all the goods.

Some Dwarves cancelled eating and moving things around. Soon all Dwarves were unabled to do anything and one fell unconscious on the ground with a dorm just a small bit away. Moments later crash.
Steps To ReproduceHaven't tried but maybe:

1. Trade crafts for food/cloth/leather/anvil.
2. Let Dwarves bring into stockpile.
3. Once finished, winter should arrive around then.
4. See mass job cancellations due to accessibility.
5. See crash.

Do you have a save? I've gone through a full winter, even after trading for an anvil with the caravan.

Maybe it got so cold all terrain was labeled dangerous and thus they refused to path through it? Just speculation.

I lost my save (turned on seasonal save now). But the area I embarked on had a Temperate temperature for both biomes.

Not saying it's not a bug, but this is obscure and difficult to reproduce. If it crops up again be sure to get a save file or more details at least.

My game is currently in the same situation. As soon as winter came, a mass spam of hauling job cancellations started because "drop-off point inaccessible" ...

I haven't seen a crash so far. Running 0.31.01 with wine in Linux, only setting change from the release packet is to make FPS visible. Another weird effect is that the ground level was covered in snow when I embarked, but now during the first winter it's green everywhere. Using the look command I can see grass, trees, bushes, etc. and ice where water used to be. I'm not sure what the terrain type is, since I pretty much embarked without looking at anything.

Can only the issue creator attach files to this?

save it, I'm sure someone smarter than me will be asking for save files.

I'm a bit embarrassed to see that both of the problems I had were a bit too hastily confirmed by me... First was the job cancellation problem. I fixed it by going to the military menu, then to alerts, and Active/Training (which has the [CIV] mark, whatever it means) and deselecting burrow 1, which is my only burrow.

Second is the snow. It took a while, but now small dustings of snow have started to appear here and there. It did look a bit weird since there were no autumn colors anywhere, just green and ice.

No real leads on this one, so I'm marking it "unable to reproduce."
