Summary0005156: Gloom husk cats give birth to normal kittens, then attack them
Description"-name- Cat unholy gloom husk (Tame) has given birth to a kitten"
She then immediately killed it and returned to her never-ending combat with other female cat gloom husk (they can only bruise each other).
It might be a bug that they hate each other, but omnicidal undead sound kinda cool.
Steps To ReproduceGet cats of both genders on a map known to spawn undeath-causing clouds
Pasture the female cat outside
Wait for the cloud
Wait for kittens
Tagsbirth, gloom husk, undead, unholy

Oh, and I forgot to add: I confirmed the kitten to be alive for a moment after birth.
Combat logs show the mother tearing a major artery in its throat, it is also covered in cat blood (gloom husks seem not to bleed).

Update: Dwarves somehow noticed the Stray Kitten (Tame) to be missing, even though only creatures that have ever seen were its mother and her undead nemesis.

Update 2: Even Creepier!
There are only 2 adult cat husks, but there have been 3 litters of kittens. Both husks are female, meaning that those wasn't just pregnancies that survived death, but new ones. All male cats are alive.
Also: some of kittens from later litters survived the birth and assault that followed. Now their mothers keep chasing them around, trying to kill them.

Sounds like an awesome feature to me.

Being hostile to everyone is NOT a bug. It is intended. But somehow I do not think husks, whatever they are, should give birth to normal version. Or give birth at all. Or get spored by male normal version.

>Being hostile to everyone is NOT a bug.
Sounds to me like it is, since all other undead hordes (a bunch of kittens across the river, now killed by goblins after a surprising LOOONG fight) act as allies. Those 2 adult cat husks were fighting (without doing any damage) for few years, they only stopped after ganging up on living kittens.
I think it happens when the cloud catches 2 creatures in mid-fight, but I'm not sure.
