Summary0006259: Muddied Carved Upwards Track Ramps grow moss and loose the track.
Description
Carved upwards tracks get destroyed by fungus

So a portion of my track got flooded while I was building the mechinisims and waterwheels to power it.
Now, I go to test it and the minecart hits a ramp and stops. odd, as I'd tested this spot previously and it had worked at this spot. on examining the spot I found the tile marked:
=highwood minecart=
Muddy Sparse Cave moss
A dusting of mud

The tile above it is marked:
Unusable Downward Slope

Other non sloping tiles which got wet are fine, though they all have Rollers on them, not sure if that made a difference.
Other sloping tracks are marked similarly but floor fungus instead of cave moss.
There are a couple of slopes that are muddy, but no moss or fungus, and the track still exists and marked as:
Muddy orthoclase Upward Track (NS)
A dusting of mud

"DFhack spotclean map mud" removes the mud but not the moss. still no slope or track.

I posted this as a question on the forum:
http://www.bay12forums.com/smf/index.php?topic=119753.msg3831755#msg3831755 [^]
others reported the same issue, but a search found nothing on the tracker here.

others report that only carved upwards tracks are affected. built upwards tracks do not suffer this problem. also that level tracks do not suffer this problem either.
Steps To Reproducedig upwards ramp underground
carve track along and up the ramp to the next level
get the carved track muddy
wait for fungus or moss to grow (discover caverns)
track disappears from ramp.
Additional InformationI have been using DFhack and therapist, but I'd be surprised if these affected this bug in any way.

That sounds like reasonable behavior to me. Wouldn't you be worried about a real life train trying to use tracks that had become overgrown? Even if it's not intentional, it could be considered a de facto feature.
