Summary0007601: Animals wearing clothes in reclaimed fortress
DescriptionEmbarked as normal, built small wooden fortress on surface and then retired the fort. Created an adventurer and navigated to the fort in Adventure Mode, then retired. Then un-retired the fort.

No dwarves were wearing their clothing - it was either left in a pile on the ground or, in three instances, being worn by the Wagon or by the two dogs the dwarves brought with them.
Steps To Reproduce1. Embark a fortress.
2. Retire the fortress.
3. Create an adventurer.
4. Go to the fortress in Adventure Mode.
5. Retire.
6. Unretire the fortress.
7. Unpause.
Additional Informationhttp://imgur.com/a/VId4P [^] Here's an album with the clothes on the ground, or being worn by the dog.

I was in the third month of Spring.

This did not happen when I retired and unretired a fortress normally; however, I did generate a new world and repeat these steps, and I found that it happened again. Without knowing anything about the inner workings, it seems as if the game is incorrectly assigning the clothes to the animals closest to the dwarves instead of the dwarves, and if an animal is not nearby, it puts them on the ground.

I can confirm this with a merchant-camel. I visited my old fort and saw a camel, which was wearing a lot of clothes, but I thought it could be related with the fact, that it was a hauling animal.

I am sure this bug was already reported, but couldn't find it. Anyway, it is related to a old bug I reported: 0004450

Yeah, I'm positive there's another report floating around.

Might have just been this:
001031 □ [adventure mode][inventory] (Report) a merchant pack animal caught at an old dwarf site during adv mode was wearing a full set of clothes

It's not exactly the same, but I have a save in 0006708 where I found two turkey recruits (one dead in the save) wearing clothes. Might be connected in some way to this one.
