| Description | I set a 21x21 gathering zone outside, then changed my mind and removed it. Herbalist proceeded to spend the entire season gathering from the removed zone anyways. | ||||||||||
| Steps To Reproduce | Designate gathering zone with ample produce. Wait for herbalist to start gathering, then remove zone. | ||||||||||

Were there also other gather zones active? Have you also designated some plants to be picked somewhere? |

I can confirm in 0.42.03: made big zone, set it to gathering and when herbalists was picking fruits in late summer I removed it via "x"-"X". He kept gathering on nearby trees inside this ex-zone. I have got several other active gather zones and no designations for plants to be gathered. |

Active - Inactive states for zones do not matter as referenced by issue 0010129 where identical behaviour with meeting zones & summary locations allow them to operate even while defunct. Based off the OP's information & attached relationships, turning off 'Active' & the site zone (unsetting from gathering zone) should keep it in operation regardless until it is removed with X which is the behaviour described in my linked issue report above as a reproducible method for testing. |
