Summary | 0002043: Grimelings produce skin, bones, meat with [NOSKIN], [NOBONES], [NOMEAT] tags present
Description | Grimelings, since they are "plant people", have a vast array of tags that stop them from having any useful bits on them. Specifically, [NOSKULL], [NOSKIN],[NOBONES] and [NOMEAT] tags are present in their RAWs. However, in arena mode, they can be butchered, producing meat, fat skin and bones. They can also be (somehow) butchered in Dwarf Mode, which resulted in a moody dwarf selecting grimeling bones to work with. I had previously slaughtered a few of them with an axedwarf, but wasn't able to butcher them normally. I'm not sure how the bones got there, but I assume the skeleton was either automatically butchered or the corpses rotted away into nothing. As well, the bones description has a typo - another superfluous space at the end.
Steps To Reproduce | Arena mode Create a grimeling Let it die Butcher it with the a button k over the tile. Dwarf mode Not quite so sure - kill a bunch of grimelings and have a butcher's shop available. That, or wait a very long time. Edit: Based on further investigation, it appears grimeling body parts rot away into bones.
Additional Information | I've doublechecked my raws, and all the tags are present. This is a clean install of 31.04, so no modding was done. Other creatures with no bone that are available in the arena don't appear to have this occur (Giant Desert Scorpion, ant people, for example).

I can confirm this still happens in .06 with arena testing. |

I just found an iron helm in Adventurer mode that was decorated with slugman bone, so this is definitely still an issue in 0.31.18. |

Can confirm still present in Arena mode in 0.40.16 Have not tried testing in fort mode or adventure mode. |
