Summary | 0010524: Undercover companions failing to report identity due to losing line of sight to questioner. | ||||||||||
Description | There is an issue with the new going undercover feature. While undercover in a kill-neutral site if a companion is asked for his identity but is moving (or the one asking is moving) there is a good chance they will be unable to answer due to losing line of sight, resulting in being exposed. It needs to be made so that both characters asking for identities and characters being asked freeze in place for a sufficiently long time for the exchange to reliably complete. | ||||||||||

Another point, the companions spend a lot of time chattering jabberish to eachother about rumours and this delays their response to the identify yourself command, but freezing both parties would hopefully give them enough time to go through present conversations. In any case, this bug really breaks the new spying mechanics and need fixing fast. |
