Summary | 0006063: Filling container from items on floor does not properly respect container capacity |
Description | If a large quantity of items are dumped in a single tile and a dwarf comes by with a container to gather them up, all of them will be placed into the container, regardless of its size.
I have not tested scattering the items across multiple tiles - it's possible it will work better in that case (i.e. checking the container capacity at each tile). |
Steps To Reproduce | 1. Embark with 1000 seeds and 1 empty bag.
2. Observe that each bag has 300 seeds in it. This is seemingly normal, based on seeds having a volume of 10 and bags having a capacity of 3000 (equivalent to [CONTAINER_CAPACITY:30000]).
3. Remove all of the seeds from their bags. I did this using DFHack to set the item's wear to an extremely high value, causing it to immediately disintegrate.
4. Create a 1-tile food stockpile.
5. Observe as a dwarf picks up the empty bag and stuffs all 1000 seeds into it. |
