This has nothing to do with 0000111 - the problem is that you cannot use fast-travel along mountain roads because fast-travel doesn't care that there's a road there, only that the terrain is mountain.

Happens to me too. There's a neat dwarven road going through the mountains, and on the fast-travel map I cannot move onto it because of the mountains.

As off 0.34.02 World Generated Roads now seems to appear again on the World Maps and Dwarven towns are linked as well, however in Adventure mode the roads dissapear once you reach the areas where the Dwarven people should reside (or alas elven)
Some examples :
Adventure mode http://tinypic.com/r/i4fi9l/5 [^]
Travel mode http://tinypic.com/r/11afu2v/5 [^]

It's also impossible to use travel mode to fast travel through the mountains using the roads...

Changing the raws to allow dwarves or elves to use human towns in their biomes as defaults, results in the roads being linked actually to the towns.

Even though the roads where linked properly now and accesible from adventure mode, you could not use fast travel to go through them from a non mountain biome in fast travel mode.

Trying to start fast travelling while on a mountain biome road or town gives you the warning that you need to get down from the mountains before you can fast travel.

As a related issue you can't fast travel in cities in mountains either.

No idea if humans make cities at the edge of mountains, but dwarves modded to use cities do make them. The part of the city which is not in the mountains is travelable, while the part that intersects with mountains is not.
