I was failing on "The Absolute Planets, region1: Not enough peaks: 0<12" So I reduced number of peaks to 0, then number of volcanos to 0. Now I have "The Legendary Universe, region1: No controllable entity definitions available". |

Are you sure that's the only variable you're changing? I always set LEVELS_ABOVE_GROUND to 5 before starting world gen and I've never seen any problems. I can see that 1 might be problematic because of the human castles (and the goblin dark fortresses, whenever they return) not having enough ceiling room. But I've always reduced it from 15 to 5, and I've never seen any related issues. |

"No controllable entity definitions available" this means it can't place dwarves. Add CIV_CONTROLLABLE to humans if you wish to play without peaks. |
