Summary0008393: Slowness while walking in the middle of nowhere
DescriptionWalk in any direction and the slowness will be roughly like travelling in a laggy town or dark tower, however, go into the bandit camp a bit to the north and enter it, in there, the lag is non-existent and the FPS is the expected level. When you travel outside of it, you start getting lag.

I'm using peridexis's starter pack r1, but I made DFhack inert to check if it's DFhack doing anything and it still does it with DFhack inert.

The cause is unknown.

Steps To Reproduce1. Walk any direction and observe slowness.

2. Fast travel to the camp a bit to the north and enter it, observe how the lag/slowness is gone.

3. Walk out of the bandit camp and observe the lag returning.

Also, would be great if those who are pros at using DFhack could take a look and see what's causing it.

This sort of things can often be the result of underground activity, especially a cavern breach causing a liquid flow.

I had it in multiple places in the desert there though.
